Case of the disappearing Elephant subgroup....:confused::confused:

Are there areas indoors or in those little yards by the carpark where they couldn't be seen from?

Pertinax, there are indoor pens that are completely off show. This is where the keepers perform close up checks using PC. They lead to the offshow outdoor paddocks.

They were off show having intensive training and Thi was having her feet cleaned and checked

I know, but it wasn`t posted when they (Jangoli and Sithami) are due. Soon, end 2009, 2010? If anyone knows more, I`d love to know.

Visited today and Upali was again in the main paddock with the herd (his bull pen gate was closed as well) and was playing with Tunga. I think some of the herd may have been seperated away again.

Wasn't able to find a keeper to ask about due dates

Same happened at the weekend, this photo was just after they opened the gate, Tunger heard it and came running over. Once both were safely clear they shut it again.

Sorry lost track alittle, but could one of the females be in season and the reason behind Upali being in with most of the herd? But then I would persume he would of raced over and tried mating the females?

Sundara is in season and thats one of the reasons she is inside with Thi and other members of her family. She is also undergoing intensive training
