That's probably it, to be fair - the layout of the entrance area also works to funnel people around in a clockwise direction.

Where is the croc's rake for its zen garden?

Yes I most certainly was. As Maguari and I discussed multiple times during our visit, it's quite a nice zoo and there isn't really much wrong with most of it, it's just weird. I quite agree with the description of it looking like someone looked at photos of American zoos and thought, "we can do that," but then didn't really know how to do it

I'll get more in depth eventually but bits of like the countless odd names for single enclosures and the unnecessary train ride are a little baffling.
