Closed Jungle Trail. All its signs and text have now been removed - including the iconic main sign, entrance/exit signs, and push/pull signs - and it has been blocked off by a new, more permanent fence.
Oh dear, I was considering a visit of Weltvogelpark Walsrode this year, but... Darn, it looks like a pretty substantial exhibit has been shut down
I mean, which species are currently off exhibit in these circumstances?
@JigerofLemuria@Paul.Haerle The Sulawesi myna was already gone before the hall closed - I hadn’t seen it for a while. It probably passed away, as they seemed to have only one, or it's been kept behind the scenes for some time now. I don’t have a complete list, but a few of the ducks from the Jungle Trail are no longer on show either, and possibly more that I can’t think of at the moment - but most of the species can be seen in other places of the park.
