looks are decieving , im sure he is like most gorrillas gentle by nature , but youve caught him looking almost malevelont in this picture

Kifu, is one of the silverbacks they USED to go in with. There is plenty of video of this on youtube.

They MAY still go in with Kifu (and his group)- I am not sure about that:confused: but if they do, his would be the only group. I don't think they have 'been in' with any others for many years now.

Kifu is quite dark in colour and not particularly handsome so he does look quite menacing- but he's really a big softie...

I asked the question when I visited and got the answer "due to health & safety we are no longer able to go in with the gorillas".

I feel this is more of a front than, an actually official line.

Has there ever been an incident involving people entering a gorilla cage?

There's a recent looking video of Damien Aspinall in with Kifu's group here. Not sure when it was filmed.

And I checked out Aspinall's profile while I was there: Apparentley he's the only one who goes in with the gorillas, and only Kifu's group at that.
