A great pity if that's the case- I've been looking forward to seeing them being used- what a disappointment Perhaps they will learn to use them in time?
When I visited on Sunday all the indoor pools were empty.
Bihan and Asha had access to one of the stalls in the new house, the other two being empty. Beluki and Rap were in the old house as was Hugo. It was my first visit since the new house opened and I have to say I was suprised to find only two of the five Rhinos using it.
It does seem to be in quite a strange place as it only really serves one/two paddocks. Perhaps layouts will change once the calves are older/move on?
Maybe they'll get rid of the old house in time? I think they should split the main paddock into 3 and use one stall for each paddock, seems odd that the new house only caters for one large paddock.

The empty pools and lack of rhinos in the new house both seem very strange indeed. There must be a basic reason. Are they going to modify the slope/access into the indoor bathing pools for example?
