Why do they not have Harapan on exhibit at L.A.?

Is there any updated news on where they are with Suci, breeding-wise now?

IIRC Harapan is offshow because there are no exhibits with "enough" shading. I think I read that some time ago, but it might also be just my imagination running wild so if I'm wrong please correct me :)

Amazing at the price of cross-breeding the two subspecies. If it saves the species, though, then it's acceptable. Why not just have the male come here, though- since the female Bornean can't breed? To much work and too much money?

The Bornean government won't allow the male to be transferred.

They should let Harapan and his sister mate, inbreeding isn't such a big problem like everyone says...
