To be fair we Californians do put a lot of photos into the LA Zoo and San Diego Zoo galleries quite often.

Of the multiple species, only a handful have ever been seen in captivity. Groves and Grubb taxonomy changes much of what we know. Of the animals in captivity in the US, there are Smith's (Madoqua (guentheri) smithi) and Cavendish's (Madoqua cavendishi) (formerly a subspecies of Kirk's). The easiest way to tell the difference is that the Gunther's group has an extremely long proboscis while the Kirk's group has a much shorter one.
