JungleWorld Original Plan

Shows internal lay out of JungleWorld with original animal species (not inclusive) noted.
@evilmonkey239 I think that the python has been gone from there for several years now. It was a famous design element when the building first opened in the 1980s because people would look up and be surprised to see a python literally in their faces.

@Gilgamesh According to an interview at Zoophoria with former curator Jim Doherty, they were only considered very briefly:
“We had orangutans in the original plan but didn’t have enough space for an outdoor habitat,” he remembered. “I didn’t want to just have them in the building so I said orangutans are out. I wanted them outside with sunlight and live vegetation.”

Enjoyed this thoroughly. Sadly, the tapir habitat is too small. I’m not sure what else could fit in there.

Do you have this sort of schematic layout for the Wild Asia Monorail or other Bronx exhibits?
