Why "Adventure Map"? This is just horrible. Treating visitors like children in a way that a serious zoo never would. it just sums up all that is awful about British zoos. Can you imagine Cologne, or Zurich, or Berlin doing this?
It is certainly less "sophisticated" than the rather high-brow dreams for the Heart of Africa (which seem to have been abandoned, reading between the lines). Interesting what happens when a new director takes over.....in the midst of a major economic turndown.
