I've somewhat learned to forgive them over the Deinonychus/Velociraptor issue because I now know what happened there. Gregory S. Paul's Predatory Dinosaurs of the World was evidently a major influence on the book, and Paul oddly synonomized the two genera into the earlier Velociraptor.
