Not 100% sure, but I'm led to believe from others on here that access to this area ceased once free contact was ended. Which kind of makes sense. However, I do feel they could have invested in a corridor to and permanent barrier around this area, or built a new house near to it, before investing in some of the more recent additions and upgrades.
the grass area and woodland area were in 2 different parts of the zoo, the grass area is actualy behind the dinasour area and the woodland is where the current wolf pen is i think.
