Europe train times

Couldn't find a suitable gallery to post this in, sorry.
@DelacoursLangur That changes the calculation. Visiting Europe on a budget and Zurich in the same sentence unfortunately don't add up, it is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Using Berlin as a base makes a lot of sense, it puts a lot of zoos within 3 hours reach from Walsrode & Hagenbeck to Leipzig, Magdeburg, Dresden & Poznan and there are plenty of undervisited zoos in that area too like Rostock, Cottbus & Görlitz.

@lintworm I am still in the early planning stages, obviously. My current plans are along these lines Berlin - Leipzig - Prague - Plzen - Wroclaw - Krakow. I will create a thread later tonight most likely. I would LOVE to add Walsrode, but its so far from those other destinations... Dresden seems very doable however.

@DelacoursLangur With that plan you will already have 8 full days and I guess you consider Krakow as a base to visit Auschwitz? The Krakow zoo is pretty bad and not worth a visit if you are short on time.

A problem is traveling to Wroclaw from Czechia, which basically costs you a whole day.
