It wouldn't kill you :p -well, it might get an artery maybe, but I mean it's not like it's a cobra or something, you could get stitches and recover from it :p

That's what I mean :p - I'm sure you can get somebody to wrestle it off you :D - I was thinking more about the bite of course, never actually thought of it coiling around and causing damage using such an underhand tactic as asphyxiation :p

I suspect the Anaconda doesn't actually get that warm that it wants to move from where this photo was taken!

It was in a little pond when I saw it. I say pond, it might have been a pool of water from a leaky roof ;)

I heard something about a free-range anaconda at South Lakes on a recent thread, half-convinced it was a joke...
but no, apparently such a concept was indeed executed..!
