@Cat-Man This is all my understanding, I could be wrong - when Omaha initially announced they would be bringing back elephants, they knew they had to look at several options for how to do so. Eventually they joined a consortium with Sedgwick County Zoo and Dallas Zoo to import 18 elephants from Eswatini, especially given the drought and the possibility of the elephants being culled if they weren't brought in.
