This is the exhibit that alternates between a pair of Hamlyn's Guenons and a single Crowned Guenon; the species that isn't out can usually be spotted through a high side window or in one of the runs to the exhibit.
I just think housing a monkey, no matter how old, on its own, is unnaceptable. I'm sure they could locate similar elderly single guenons or langurs to mix with the phayre's langur and crowned gueneon?

In the 'South American' Monkey house there is also a single Red-eared Guenon and a single Lowe's Guenon(though there is a pair elsewhere too)
Twycross have the widest range of Guenon species in the UK but I have not seen a baby from any of them there for many years- none of them seem to breed anymore and several are either solitary, or elderly, or both.
