I thought I was supposed to go "it was so obvious, how couldn't I have seen it all along?" once I knew the species, but I'm really not feeling it. How do you know this is (supposed to look like) a titi?
@FelipeDBKO This is meant to be Callicebus personatus - the colouration might make it more obvious in hindsight, but I'm still very pleased I photographed the label!
Either nigrifrons or personatus were one of the first things it remotely reminded me of along with grison due to the coloration, rotund body and grasping hands, but the whiskers just threw me off. At least from this angle, the closest its head reminds me of is a... baby rabbit(?)
