This is visible from a public walkway, but is in a non-public area.
djaeon @ I don't want there to be another hunting debate started here, please. There are plenty of other threads already covering the subject.

I had no idea there were other threads devoted to this subject. Perhaps it is time to smolder this flame before it spreads.

zooman @ Guess l just belive in a fair fight. The hunter with his gun against an animal is not!!! Where people get statistics that say "the overall majority of sportsmen responsibly hunt for food". How very unlikely.....

Though I would love to have contiune this discussion, I think for djaeon's sake and for all the member's sake, we should stop this discussion and agree to disagree.

I guess I got so defensive because of my views of hunting and my family's participation in deer season where most of the deer they kill end up on the dinnerplate.

As for the statistics, I suppose it depends on who conducted the survey, so the evidence could tip either way.

To be honest i think trophy hunting should be illegal, it messes with evolution, its cruel, its brutal, its destructive
as a Hoofstock buff its sad to see my favorite animals get hunted for pleasure and exploited for there parts, not just ungulates but other animals too, trophy hunting is wrong and must be stopped or else we will not move forward or get to were need to be in wildlife conservation
please join me and put a stop to this cruel, brutal, and destructive "sport"

Ok, I apologize for this silly post, from a long time ago, plus Djaeon said he didn't want this to be a hunting debate so I should have respected his wishes

Now I am going to make an intelligent post and try to name the ungulates that these horns, skulls, and antlers came from, here I go:

Bottom row: Bharal and Transcaspian urial

Middle row: Impala, Siberian reindeer, Barbary red deer, and possibly Siberian reindeer again

Top row: Altai wapiti, Siberian ibex and possibly other Cervus elaphus or Cervus canadiensis subspecies

This sign is now hung on the wall in the petting zoo in the Children's zoo.

Someone go take a more clear photo, please :) So we can know the species.
I think there are Ibex, Elk, Whitetail, Caribou, Impala, Bighorn & Marco Polo sheep.
