To make this an end, these are defenetly jags! You can see it, the fur is like a jag, the head is like a jag, the posture is like a jag and the tail is short like a jag. So these are to 120% sure Panthera onca ;)
 
i can conferm!, even if they're not jaguars, they had them, my 2 guide books from london zoo in the mid 80s' say they have Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Serval, Jaguars and Puma
 
this is the spider monkeys enclosure now. Jaguars, baby,egore and lucy,
baby and egore had a offspring called ernie
 
Looking at this photo makes it clear why London had to downsize their collection, talk about an inadequate enclosure...
 
how big was this exhibit. the size doesn't look two bad (judging from these pictures) for a pair of jags (probably pushing 3, but still), it just seems a bit barren, not much climing of swimming stuff etc
