I know that the Dallas World Aquarium has been wanting twelve-wired bop for a while, so if they went to a different facility, that may be where. It would be weird for the zoo to just ditch the species altogether, though.
I meant in this case because it's a species that most zoos don't have. Now obviously I don't know the situation at Bronx (never been there, yet) but I think that to stop keeping this rare species would be an odd choice- pretty, colorful, display animal that is much out of the ordinary.
