When I visited I found the whole cat terraces area rather confusing and dated. On my visit it seemed one of the oldest areas, with a jumble of enclosure and viewing areas for monkeys, birds and big cats. I really didn't know where to go or look.
One of the problems is it now contains species- like the 'spare' Monkeys- which it wasn't originally designed for. So it doesn't make much sense now. Time to start from scratch again really, but they evidently haven't got the money- hence the cosmetic approach but nothing more.
