Oh if your visit to Lowery Park was in 1997 then it wasnt the tawny female we had in 1995. I thought the first batch of visiting white lions came from Lowery Park in 1995 after a short stay there. Maybe they came from another zoo and I got their previous zoo confused with our first permenant white lion Nokonda. The timeline works for Nokonda being one of the ones you saw. We however didnt get any siblings with her. I appologize for the mistake and resulting confusion.
Arcticwolf the deal for the white lions came prior to our being turfed out of the AZA. This time Im certain and have the evidence. The arrangment was first published on the website in December 2011. We lost our accreditation in April of 2012 thanks to the elephant disaster. So we kind of didnt adher to the rules or recommendations of the AZA.
