Agree- I never heard before that size can be altered by neutering -though weight can, it can increase in neutered animals e.g. dogs..Afaik its determined by genetic/dietary reasons.
The Gottingen pigs sound like they could be a source of the 'german micropigs' I saw advertised, perhaps some got into the hands of commercial breeders? The ones in the UK nowadays could be from both this and the UK source mentioned above. I note it says the UK breeder came up 'with his own version' indicating there were micropigs already in existence elsewhere before he produced his. And I doubt even more that 'Trotters'D!!)can have the original ones somehow- from any source.
