The polar bear enclosure was covered for the penguins. They have both the large pool and the upper area, by the covered viewing spot. They were being fed.
@Wyman I'd LOVE Axis deer, any more ungulates really! I wish there was a viewing area that was more level with it, or a bit above. I do like the look of the long grass but not so much when it's blocking the bear because you're at a lower vantage point Same with the Mhorr/red river hogs. I was very surprised to get to see one of each this time, the Mhorr was just a head but it was the entire head for once, and the hog was in the ditch against the wall so barely visible as well.
