Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo - Leopard Exhibit

July 2008. What you see is what you get in this brutal enclosure. It was a steaming hot day in the cat house, and the leopard was panting badly.
@Ituri, there seemed to be a few that didn't have access, but then again I skipped that exhibit the last time.

@snowleopard, I agree, that and the bear grottoes need to go. I thought I had heard a rumor that the bear grottoes were to be a new sea lion exhibit.

@Arizona Docent I had thought I heard that the tigers were to be moved to an Asian themed area and the lions to an African-themed area. I just hope this doesn't mean the hoofstock will disappear. They have a great collection with spacious enclosures.

Per the master plan (Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo) the cat complex will be demolished and will be replaced with exhibits for okapi, bongo, and red river hog. New exhibits for jaguars, pumas, leopards, tigers, lions and cheetahs will be developed in various locations across the zoo.
