Wow, this looks ugly!

It is ugly, it is ! And the visitors have double the place than the orangs...

Some of the cages at the Hannover Zoo are just ghastly.

I visited the zoo recently, and I'm on your side guys. Ugly exhibit, but the whole zoo isn't this bad.

Zoo ? Get away the animals and nobody will care about that...The antelope exhibits are not bad, but that's it.

Hey this exhibit looks bigger on your photo then it really is !
Not everything there is bad!Many animals there are in very good condition and most exhibits are good.
Okay it isn't the best zoo in Germany and many people don't like the plastic rocks, but for the animals its very big improvement.

The design of the house dates from 1977.

No Orang-Utan outdoor-enclosure was planned. The outdoor-enclosure you can see on the picture, was originally the outdoor-enclosure for the hand-reared great apes.

Now the little outdoor-enclosure is used by the great orangs and there are two orang groups at Aventure Zoo. They have to take turns (alternate) to get to fresh air. It's terrible.

Hardly better than no outside area at all! Just about the worst I have seen- just a converted baby ape nursery enclosure

Although it would probably maintain a cage design, would it be impossible for the zoo to expand the outdoor section toward the steel railings? That would give the orangs some more space at least.
