Gigit- I don't have anywhere particularly in mind but from memory there are parts of Paignton Zoo that contain wooded and treed areas. I wouldn't have built such a grand building- instead seperate enclosures for the four species perhaps scattered about in different places which were suitable for them, each with a smaller indoor area as with the Mandrills and where the Sulawesi macaques used to be(up the hill).
Of course Monkey Heights is there to stay but it does seem rather a retrograde design for Paignton to have made. You should see Howletts & Port Lympne's recent Monkey enclosures, they are excellent. Each enclosure has a simple yet comfortable indoor area with viewing windows similar to Paignton Mandrills. Yet oddly I prefer Paignton's Ape accomodation to Howletts/Port Lymne! So I KNOW that Paignton could have done better than this with the Monkey enclosures.
