I mean that Ara manilata is the only (living) species of the genus Ara that I still miss. In fact, also the only living macaw that I still miss, since I have the 3 species of the other two macaw genus.
Then go to Pairi Daiza and you will get the two rarest of the four species! I was lucky to have cared for a pair of golden-collared in private aviculture
Or much better, go to Jurong bird park, since the above comment mentions that the species that they miss are ones that you already have
@Kakapo GIve you imply above that you do not recognise Orthopsittaca, but also mention "the other two" macaw genera, I'm curious which other two you do recognise?
@Kakapo I have tentative plans to get to Belgium in the next couple of years but I do not know if or when it will happen. I have other smaller trips to plan it around. Singapore is unlikely to be visited for at least five years but it is still high on my list.
