that's what I was thinking. It looks like there are two keepers there, one to the right with the hose and the other sitting on the lowest part of the wall (again, on the right). I guess that low point could be where she could step over, and that would also explain the weird "stepped" design of the wall. I had always imagined the pool as being quite deep but it probably wasn't at all.
