It is a very big exhibit, and as such is open topped.

Zoolex says that "The exhibit is fenced by three to four meters high shotcrete walls, as well as by 4 meters high fences with a one meter overhang, and glass and piano wires at the view points."

I don't remember any fences being visible.

Thanks for the reply, I had seen the Zoolex entry but missed the part about the fences.

Yes but I saw it when I did the Elephant Lodge Experience.
