Hi there, is the date on your photo correct? The reason I ask is that if so then this is from 2009 and I think at that predates Fabi & Kirana? not sure though so happy to be corrected by those in the know!
Kirana arrived October 2008 and Fabi joined her in March 2009. Before that Chester was home to Sumatran male, Kepala (May 2007 to January 2009) and Bengal sisters, Rani and Kali (April 2006 until September 2008)
Kepala was related to Kirana (he's a full brother to her mum!) so he went to Dublin Zoo for that reason and the Bengal sisters were only a short term arrangement whilst Chester waited for a pair of Sumatrans following the death of there last Amur Tiger in early 2006. It was only because WMSP (which loaned them to Chester) ran out of space that they ended up staying for so long!
