I see, I saw the patch you're on about and I thought the rest of it was too. They have been kind to it! Although I went to Taronga today and their sun bears haven't killed many of the plants in their exhibit either.
Yeah their old exhibit was a small pit with no live plants at all. That section of the zoo has been closed, awaiting redevelopment. It was only one-third the size of the present one. So it really is a vast improvement..
