Thank you Yes, I was thinking that coloring too....
But the photos of Choco Toucan (Ramphastos brevis) from scientific websites online seems to have a similar colored bill too.

The Choco Toucan (Ramphastos brevis) and the Chestnut-mandibled Toucan (now recognised as Ramphastos ambiguus swainsonii, a subspecies of the Yellow-throated Toucan) were previously considered conspecific.

They were separated based on vocal differences and other morphological characteristics. The change only began to be widely adopted in the ornithological community in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with major global checklists fully recognising the split by the 2010s. The IOC World Bird List, for example, lists the Choco Toucan as a species distinct from R. ambiguus, citing vocalisations as a key factor.

(And some sites do not update regularly enough.)

Thanks!
So, I understand that some information online might not be accurate and updated.
I might just recognize this species as "Ramphastos sp.".

Thanks for all the comments!

I was quite curious about the species, so I asked a proffesional (Director of Aves y Conservación - Birdlife en Ecuador) for assistance.

It was identified as Ramphastos brevis because its bill is yellow with black, and R. ambiguus has a slight reddish-brown color, not entirely black. Its bill appears proportionally less robust.

This could be the only known individual of this species outside South America.

I don't know how this animal ended up in a private zoo in Thailand, but could have been acquired together with the Pale throated sloth, which is an extremely rare species to be found ottside South America too.
