Is it known which part of Arizona the Mule Deer came from then?

@ThylacineAlive I tried doing a search but came up with nothing. I am sure the Museum staff know their origin, but I could not find it online.

@Arizona Docent Thanks for trying. I tried searching it myself the other day and also came up with nothing. I find it a bit annoying when zoos mention how they've rescued animals from the wild but then do not mention the general area in which they came from.

The deer came from Tucson, making them ssp eremicus.

@ThylacineAlive I am glad this has been established! Now you can check them off as a Mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) subspecies you have seen.
