'White' form South African Lions (Panthera leo krugeri). There are stacks of these strange animals now - and ironically they're the only African Lions of known-subspecies origin in the UK...
Not necessarily Cat-Man i think thats if they are castrated if its a vesectomy i think its fine i know several lions who had this done because they live with siblings and they have all got really impressive manes.
Also contraception on the females can be used but to do it with the males is generally the favoured option as it is easier and is a definate option.
It really should have been done with severe inbreeding like this theyve taken a healthy group of lions and with this inbreeding cannot properly breed with the cubs as they will be inbred which could in the future with more breeding between them eventually lead to deformalaties.
I agree with you Tuan, Woburn have 3 young castrated males who have no manes,
But im pretty sure i was right on my theory, Castration also happens in pride structures because manes help symboliose dominants over a group so with no manes generally less fights will be occuring.vesectomys are normally carried out with single pairs.
I think this is right because i know a few lions who have ahd vesecomys and have fantastic manes
