Interesting that they can jump that high. If I am not mistaken, part of the recovery plan for iberian lynx is putting fences around certain areas (stocked with rabbit prey) that lynxes can jump but other predators like iberian wolf cannot. Maybe their assumptions about wolf jumping are incorrect?

They are very distinctive-looking from other European wolves. But they do rather remind me of the Red Wolf of the Southern USA. Similar colour scheme and size?
