On the other hand, the dormice already have an enclosure (formerly Gambian rats, opposite the former porcupines in the "aardvark burrow") and a sign, but I haven't managed to see them.
:) Just wonderful! It's a lovely calf, is that the Mhorr gazelle exhibit? The video the park has posted recently where the calf appears doesn't seem like the dry savannah.
Glad to read the dormice are on show!

Yes, the same day I saw the rhino calf, and
on previous visits.

The infant was born at Bioparc Fuengirola, and has been announced in that thread already. This is actually the fourth infant born this year in Europe; but second in an EAZA zoo.

Speaking of which, anyone seen the addax lately?

I've seen them in all my visits recently, including today. There are 2 of them. I couldn't see the dormice sadly.

A zookeeper said the baby rhino is usually out from park opening until 1 pm aprox. He also confirmed that there's only one female striped hyena and that the male had passed away.

A few minutes the park closed the aardvarks were out digging a lot. It was fun to see them active for once!

Another good opportunity to see the aardvarks awake, is right after the park opens.
