The Feline Building was build in 1970 to house the zoo's Cat species. It housed Lions, Tigers, Jaguars, Leopards, Snow Leopards, and smaller cat species. It was demolished and replaced by the better Asian Highlands in 2005. After the Lions passed away, the zoo had no Lions till 2014.
