The female brown bear in Copenhagen Zoo with three young cubs. Copenhagen gets bear cubs every two years. This enclosure is a new expansion of the old bear caves (it's much bigger than the photo suggests).

The polar bear exhibit in Copenhagen is part of the old bear caves. It was recently expanded a little outside of the picture, but the plan is to built a brand new enclosure for the bears sometime between 2008-2010.

The male brown bear in Copenhagen during wintertime. This male bear is quite valuable for the breeding programme, since he is born in the wild. His mother was shot in the Swedish woods, and he was then brought to Denmark to live in Copenhagen Zoo. He has already fathered many cubs.
