This enclosure is found within the zoo's nocturnal house, named Twilight. It seemed empty and I forgot to note what species of armadillo it was but six-banded armadillos were kept elsewhere in the zoo, so I'm guessing this was their old enclosure.

This is the largest enclosure for chickens and or turkeys that I've ever seen.

The ostriches recently moved into this larger enclosure after their former enclosure was converted into a parking lot. This is the only place I've been where you can actually see the ostriches running at full speed in groups like in the wild because of their very large enclosure.

This photo shows about half of Planckendael's huge elephant enclosure. This enclosure opened in 2012 and is currently home to 1.5 Asian elephants. Although the enclosure was originally intended for deer as well, now, 9 years later, still no deers have been added to the enclosure.
