Zoo La Fleche has underwater viewing for tigers with some water lilies.
I realized that zoos very rarely show water lilies in animal exhibits (besides fish tanks) and rarely show wetland ecosystems (not deep freshwater). I think it would be cool to see giant Victoria water lilies with piranhas...
The ostriches recently moved into this larger enclosure after their former enclosure was converted into a parking lot. This is the only place I've been where you can actually see the ostriches running at full speed in groups like in the wild because of their very large enclosure.
Every zoo, fromm great to mediocore has "that" exhibit. Usually older, looks not nice, too smal, and often unintresting species, and despite its size still takes too much space. What are your examples. And what are better exhibits that could be in its place.
