A pygmy hippopotamus in the African Village in Aalborg Zoo, Denmark. The African Village is one of the best themes in any zoo I have seen. The hippoes can be viewed both above and under water.

Thes Asien lions live in the relatively new Cat Jungle, with enclsoures for South East Asian cats. Also found here are sumatran tigers, rusty cats and clouded leopards. The lions and tigers have large, open outdoor enclosures, while the clouded leopards has two aviaries.
