langur

Hi guys, I need to know safe/sturdy plants to plant in a Javan Langur enclosure and also what different browse they can be fed that is easily avaliable in the uk. Also any herbs they can be fed? Thanks :)

Baby Javan Brown Langur (Trachypithecus auratus auratus)

Javan Langur at Twycross Zoo

Phayre's Langur at Twycross Zoo - it appeared to be dead but was actually sprawled on the heated floor! She was breathing! This female is called Kerry. She is very old and the only one at the zoo.

Douc langur (Pygathrix nemaeus) Taken in Cologne Zoo (Germany)

Douc langurs in the Ape House at Cologne Zoo. Cologne Zoo is the only zoo in Europe to keep this rare species. They hold 2.3 douc langurs, one of the males being a baby, born in March 2007.

The Mappin Terraces at London Zoo (Now re-named Bear Mountain). It contains Sloth Bears and a troop of Hanuman Langurs. Edit: the bears have now left and will be replaced by australian fauna.
