Do note that this image was taken on November 18th, 2022, at the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens, in Seminole County, Florida, USA.

He had just been given a couple of Christmas trees with food in them, and while eating one of the treats, he looks up/left/right and I took a series of pictures, and this was in the middle of that series, how adorable!

I was a bit bummed that the Amur leopard cubs never came out at any point during this visit, but it was cool to see their father, Sampson.

Waiting for those little moments of expression while felids are resting is tedious but rewarding.

Does anyone know of any Persian leopards in the US or Canada right now (2022)? Or any other rare wildlife native to Iran that are on display within US/Canada. Specifically closer to the North East of the US.

This leopard sat around these leaves for a while and I thought it was such a serene scene. I suppose its ironic for such a fierce animal, but I think it made for a nice portrait style shot.

Dorothy ("Dot") was strangely active for a cat during this visit. I ended up spending a lot of time with her.
