The new cliffs and pools for the sea lions and seals at Frankfurt Zoo. The enclosure on the picture is for the sea lions. The seals' pool is situated behind this one. Both species can be viewed underwater.

Thes Asien lions live in the relatively new Cat Jungle, with enclsoures for South East Asian cats. Also found here are sumatran tigers, rusty cats and clouded leopards. The lions and tigers have large, open outdoor enclosures, while the clouded leopards has two aviaries.

The new lion enclosure for african lions in Wuppertal Zoo, is huge, and has to be one of the best i have seen. It opened in May 2007 along with the new tiger enclosure. A lot has been done to make it look like an actual savannah.

Chester Zoo's young lion cub

This is a favourite photo of mine... Its is one of the best exhibits in the zoo, Lion Hill, part of the African Pridelands area of the zoo that opened in 1997... The Lions are seperated by only a water moat and a small glass viewing hut and this photo shows how an image turns out when animals...

This is the above water view of Sea Lion Shores, the exhibit also contains NZ Fur Seals and is ajoined to a walk through NZ Shore Bird Aviary with Little Blue Penguin and Shags among others...
