Considered by most zoo visitors as a “pocket exhibit”. The brand new “Tswalu Trek” is a fictional exhibit complex, that is mostly dedicated to the iconic and somewhat infamous meerkat, along with a few other species that directly live alongside them within their native range as well.

I know there are threats for carnivores in mixed exhibits, but Iam quite specificly intrested in the rare mixed exhibits with felines. Juvenile meerkat brought out for handling.

Housing 4 meerkats, all juveniles/sub-adults (less than 1 year). I asked what they do with the meerkats once they become sexually mature (and potentially aggressive) and they didn't have an answer. Worker's face covered for privacy.
