So for those of you that have visited, which 10 zoos would you say constitute the top 10 in the Netherlands, and why? Personally I would put (in no particular order) Burgers', Apenheul, Blijdorp, Ouwehands, Beekse Bergen, Artis, Avifauna, Dierenrijk, Amersfoort and GaiaZOO in there.

The zoo will receive 3.0 giant otters at the end of July.

First post for this zoo is rather exciting, twitter has posted a pic of 3 baby crab eating raccoons. Jonge kroost krabbenetende wasberen op ontdekkingstocht! on Twitpic 2.1 common seal have also recently arrived from Antwerp.

Large part of the savannah at Gaiapark, Kerkrade, Netherlands. This savannah houses springbok, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, guinea fowl and kudus.

Pathway in Burgers' Bush ,going towards the higher area and giving access later on to the large restaurant, terrace and viewing area near te savannah (on the outside of the hall).
