2020 has begun and with it a whole new year of new events. The zoo recently updated its website and it is not very good. In other news, Illuminature will last until January 5.
These pheasants are part of the zoo’s Wings Of Asia. The Cabot’s tragopan and a Lady Amherst’s pheasant are new additions. Wings of Asia will open in April.
A few months ago, the Philadelphia Zoo got a female great argus. We plan on getting a male in the future. She lives in the McNeil Avian Center, and spends most of her time with a golden pheasant in the rainforest part of the house.
