Considered by most zoo visitors as a “pocket exhibit”. The brand new “Tswalu Trek” is a fictional exhibit complex, that is mostly dedicated to the iconic and somewhat infamous meerkat, along with a few other species that directly live alongside them within their native range as well.

In the last year I have really got into videoing wildlife using remote camera traps. I have carried this out in a number of different places. Here's some of the footage from around the world. I hope you like it.
These enclosures were built in the 1950s and were demolished in 1996 when the condor aviary was built.
The wall at teh rear was part of the Kamchatka bear enclosure and the fence formed part of the bear walkway.
The bear enclosure is now the condor aviary.
Porcupine enclosure at Chester Zoo. This exhibit was built in the 1950s and usually had Indian Crested Porcupines in it. Other animals I remember seeing there were raccoon dogs and common raccoons. This enclosure was demolished in 1996 when the condor aviary was built.
