Hello all! I visited the zoo the other day and overheard two visitors discussing the rhinos.... I overheard one visitor say that Chester Zoo owns the Rhino stud book. Is this true? What exactly does this include? Thank you!:)

The rhino-enclosure was one of the best things in the zoo. Very large outdoor area, and a nice looking stable. Here you see only part of it. (white rhinos)

This male Indian Rhino's attention was on the females beyond the gate. He had rubbed his nose in his attempts to reach them.

The new savannah in Copenhagen Zoo, right before it opened in June 2007. That's also why the grass still is so green, since both rhinos and zebras will live here. Behind the wooden wall to the left, the new hippo house was being constructed at the time. The species living here are zebras...
