The new rainforest house in Dortmund Zoo, built to house sumatran orang-utans and malayan tapirs. The outdoor enclosure is split in two by a low wall of rocks, keeping the tapirs on one side, but letting the orangs use both sides.

Image taken in 2007. This enclosure dates back to the zoos opening in 1922... It has since been renovated many times and what used to hold 2 prides of Lions now holds 1 Tiger...
